A School in Rohtak, Haryana is hiring a PGT Political Science Teacher.

Role Summary
The school is inviting applications for the position of Post Graduate Teacher in Political Science. The role is full-time and requires a candidate with a minimum of three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. The selected teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to classes 11 and 12.

Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Political Science, covering topics like Indian Constitution, Political Theory, International Relations, and Comparative Politics.
2. Prepare and update teaching materials, including notes, presentations, and assignments, aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
3. Conduct regular assessments, including unit tests, mid-term exams, and mock examinations, to evaluate student understanding.
4. Provide remedial support to students struggling with political science concepts through extra classes or individual guidance.
5. Organize debates, quizzes, and model United Nations sessions to enhance students’ understanding of political processes and global affairs.
6. Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and student progress for administrative review.
7. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and staff meetings to contribute to the school’s academic and cultural environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science from a recognized university. A B.Ed degree is mandatory for this position. Prior teaching experience of at least three years in a senior secondary school is required. While TET or CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be considered an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging between Rs.50,000 and Rs.80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health insurance, staff development programs, and access to school facilities.
