What You Will Do
As a PRT Music Teacher, you will:
- Teach Music to students from Classes I to X
- Develop and implement engaging music curricula
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan inter-disciplinary projects
- Organize school events and competitions to showcase student talent
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive music learning environment
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance your skills
- Liaise with local music schools and institutions to explore opportunities for student exchange and collaboration
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Music or a related field
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian classical and folk music
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
