PRT Sanskrit Teacher Job at Sdvp Gurukul in Kalanaur, Rohtak
Teach Sanskrit to students in the school’s primary section, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards while fostering cultural appreciation through age-appropriate methods. Develop engaging lesson plans that integrate classical texts, grammar, and basic composition in a way that resonates with young learners.
Prepare and deliver daily classes, including morning recitations, grammar exercises, and simple storytelling sessions to maintain interest. Assess student progress through periodic evaluations, using simple tools like oral tests and written assignments to track understanding and improvement.
Collaborate with the principal and senior teachers to integrate Sanskrit lessons into broader academic activities, such as school events, festivals, or interdisciplinary projects. Maintain organized teaching resources like workbooks, flashcards, and audio-visual aids to support classroom instruction.
Ensure compliance with school policies on attendance, discipline, and classroom management while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment for diverse students. Assist in organizing extracurricular activities related to Sanskrit, such as recitation competitions or cultural workshops.
Hold a graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related humanities field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree for formal teaching certification. Three years of teaching experience in a Sanskrit or similar subject area is required. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory. Salary offered is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month for this full-time position.
