Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Sanskrit to students in the Primary Stage at Sdvp Gurukul, Kalanaur, ensuring alignment with curriculum guidelines. Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate classical texts, grammar, and basic scriptural knowledge in a structured manner.
Engage students with age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, chanting, and simple composition exercises to enhance language skills. Monitor student progress in Sanskrit comprehension, pronunciation, and basic vocabulary development through periodic assessments.
Prepare and maintain teaching aids such as flashcards, workbooks, and visual aids to support classroom learning effectively.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit or an equivalent subject from a recognized university. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the PRT position.
Experience in teaching Sanskrit to children for at least three years is essential, preferably in a school environment. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
