Swastik Convent School in Sonipat seeks a qualified and experienced PGT Philosophy Teacher to join its faculty. This role involves teaching philosophy at the senior secondary level, fostering critical thinking and ethical discussions among students. The position requires a strong command of philosophical concepts, including Indian and Western traditions, to deliver engaging and relevant lessons.
The PGT Philosophy Teacher will design and implement curriculum-based syllabi, ensuring alignment with school and board standards. Daily classroom instruction, student assessment, and feedback will be part of the responsibilities. The role also includes coordinating extra-curricular philosophical discussions, organizing workshops, and maintaining academic records.
A postgraduate degree in Philosophy with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of relevant teaching experience in philosophy or related subjects is preferred. The successful candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
