Classroom Profile

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students from Class 6 to 12. The Physical Education department at Dev Rishi Sr Sec School Sonepat is well-equipped with modern sports facilities, including a basketball court, badminton court, and a gymnasium. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a PGT Physical Education teacher at Dev Rishi Sr Sec School Sonepat, your day-to-day duties will include:

- Planning and delivering Physical Education lessons that promote physical fitness, skill development, and teamwork.
- Creating lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with special requirements.
- Conducting sports events, tournaments, and competitions to promote a culture of sportsmanship and excellence.
- Developing and implementing schemes to promote physical fitness and wellness among students and staff.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborating with other teachers to develop a comprehensive Physical Education program that aligns with the school's vision and goals.
- Providing guidance and support to students who require additional help or support.
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of the Physical Education department.

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in Physical Education or a related field (M.P.Ed. or M.Sc. in Physical Education).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- Valid TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills

- 4 years of experience in teaching Physical Education at a recognized school.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the development of the Physical Education department.
- Familiarity with local sports and cultural traditions in Sonipat.
