Job Description
PRT Evs Teacher Job in Sonipat, Haryana | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
This is a hands-on Evs Teacher Job in Sonipat where you’ll be with the same group of young learners all day. You will plan, conduct, and grade Evs activities for grades 1 to 5 at Gd Goenka International School. Expect to handle 5–6 classes daily plus duty rosters, assemblies, and parent meetings. The classroom is small, resources are limited, and the children arrive with mixed exposure to English and Hindi.
What you will actually do
You will prepare weekly Evs lesson plans aligned with the NCERT framework and adapt them for mixed-ability sections. Conduct simple experiments with water, soil, plants, and magnets using everyday materials so every child can see the concept in action. Organize field trips to local parks or markets once a term to connect textbook topics with real life. Grade notebooks every alternate day and maintain a running record of participation and progress. Collaborate with PRT colleagues to plan inter-house Evs quizzes and exhibitions. Set up a small class library of Evs storybooks and conduct read-aloud sessions. Prepare students for periodic Evs fairs organized by the school. Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss student behavior and learning gaps.
Who can do this job
Graduation in any discipline plus B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. TET or CTET is preferred but not compulsory. Two years of teaching Evs to primary classes is required. Experience in a CBSE school is an advantage.
What you need to bring
You must be comfortable explaining environmental and social concepts in simple Hindi and English. Patience to repeat instructions and patience to manage noise levels in open classrooms. A habit of documenting observations and sharing quick notes with coordinators.
What you get in return
Monthly salary between Rs.20,000 and Rs.35,000 based on experience and interview performance. School provides uniforms, identity card, and in-house professional development sessions. Medical reimbursement for OPD up to Rs.5,000 per year.
How to apply
