Responsibilities
Teach Sanskrit to students in Classes VI to XII, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum while fostering critical thinking and linguistic proficiency. Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate Vedic texts, grammar, and modern applications of Sanskrit to bridge tradition with contemporary education. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their fluency and comprehension in the language.
Collaborate with the faculty to integrate Sanskrit into interdisciplinary projects, such as cultural festivals, literary clubs, or extracurricular events, to make learning interactive. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and resource allocation. Support the school’s mission of promoting heritage while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for this TGT Sanskrit Teacher position. Experience in teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level is highly valued, though not mandatory for this role.
Experience
A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or related subjects is required for this School TGT Sanskrit Opening. Familiarity with state-level education boards and examination patterns is beneficial for effective classroom management.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, along with full-time employment at Shiv Modern Senior Secondary School in Sonipat.
