As a PGT History Teacher, you will lead classroom instruction in key periods—from ancient civilizations to contemporary socio-political movements—while adapting teaching styles for diverse learning needs. Your ability to connect past events to present-day issues will be crucial for sparking student interest.
The role requires a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in History. Two years of teaching experience in schools is mandatory, though preference may be given to candidates with experience in Haryana’s curriculum frameworks. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid certificate will be an asset for career progression.
