Job Description
PRT English Teacher Job in Yamunanagar, Haryana | School Recruitment
Yamunanagar’s families are raising children who need confident English speakers to step into tomorrow. S.s Public Sr. Sec. School sees every lesson as a chance to shape local futures, and the right PRT English Teacher can turn classrooms into bridges between home and the wider world.
The teacher will become a trusted voice in the neighbourhood, helping students speak, read and write English that matters in their daily lives. Parents in Yamunanagar expect their children to use English beyond textbooks, and this role delivers that confidence. S.s Public Sr. Sec. School looks for someone who sees teaching as community service first, classroom guide second.
Daily responsibilities begin with planning English lessons that connect grammar to local contexts. You will conduct reading circles using stories familiar to Yamunanagar students, run morning assemblies where English is spoken naturally, and organise weekend language clubs for parents who want to improve their skills too. Midday you will mark notebooks with encouraging notes in English, showing progress to anxious mothers and fathers. After school, you will meet with small groups needing extra help, often in the school courtyard itself.
Who should apply
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and at least three years of English teaching experience will fit well. TET or CTET is welcome but not required. What matters most is the ability to make English feel alive, not like a school subject but like a useful skill.
Why this role matters
Every clear sentence a student speaks in English strengthens Yamunanagar’s next generation. S.s Public Sr. Sec. School believes that strong English opens doors to colleges and jobs beyond the district. This teacher will be the daily proof that language learning is practical, joyful and within reach.
Salary and benefits
The monthly salary is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, along with the stability and respect that come with a permanent position at a respected school.
How to apply
Send your resume, teaching certificate, and a short note on how you would teach English to children from Yamunanagar to the school office or the contact provided.
