Role Summary
Computer Science Teacher Vacancy in Bilaspur is open for a Trained Graduate Teacher who can convert syllabus topics into hands-on coding challenges. You will map NCERT Computer Science curriculum to real projects, mentor a class of 35–40 students, and coordinate with the IT team to keep labs and networks ready for daily use. Expect to work closely with the mathematics and science departments to co-design interdisciplinary assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver TGT Computer Science lessons that blend theory with practical exercises using Scratch, HTML, Python, and spreadsheets.
Create low-floor, high-ceiling assignments so every student can progress from basic loops to file handling without fear.
Assess lab work through observation checklists rather than only written tests; give quick verbal feedback during lab hours.
Organise weekend mini-hackathons where students solve community problems using Raspberry Pi and sensors donated by local IT clubs.
Maintain the computer lab inventory and submit repair requests to the IT vendor before Monday morning.
Collaborate with the art department to run a term-end tech exhibition where students showcase their projects.
Attend monthly curriculum review meetings with the academic coordinator and share lesson artefacts on the school LMS.
Supervise boarding house study sessions twice a week to assist boarders with pending programming assignments.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA from a recognised university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 55% aggregate; TET/CTET will be preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 4 years of full-time Computer Science Teaching Job in Bilaspur or similar residential schools.
Experience with Python, Scratch, and basic networking tools in classroom settings.
Familiarity with NCERT Computer Science textbooks for grades 9–10 and ability to design age-appropriate projects.
