Job Description
PRT Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities
Teach mathematics to students from Class I to VIII in a structured curriculum aligned with the NCERT syllabus. Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive methods to improve understanding.
Deliver clear explanations of algebraic concepts, geometry, trigonometry, and arithmetic, ensuring students grasp both theoretical and practical applications. Monitor student progress regularly to identify areas needing extra attention and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Prepare and maintain well-organized class records, including attendance, homework assignments, and performance evaluations. Assist students with their doubts during and after classes, ensuring they build confidence in mathematical problem-solving.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the PRT position in a government-recognized school.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in mathematics at the primary or upper primary level. Experience in classroom management and student engagement is highly valued.
Salary and Employment Details
