Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for this teaching post. Candidates who have cleared TET or CTET will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver Hindi language lessons for classes VI to X in accordance with the Himachal Pradesh Board curriculum, ensuring that each session is engaging and aligns with learning outcomes.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and visual resources that cater to diverse learning styles, and adapt content for students who need additional support.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, including oral tests, written exams, and project work, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents, and hold parent‑teacher meetings to discuss progress, areas of improvement, and strategies for remediation.
• Coordinate with the Head of Department and senior faculty to develop unit plans, cross‑curricular activities, and extracurricular events that promote Hindi literature and cultural awareness.
• Participate in school‑wide academic committees, staff development programs, and continuous professional development sessions to stay updated with pedagogical innovations.
• Uphold the school’s code of conduct, maintain discipline in the classroom, and foster a respectful, inclusive environment that encourages active participation.
• Contribute to the preparation of school examination papers, marking schemes, and moderation processes as required by the board.
