Seeking a Dedicated NTT Mathematics Teacher for New Whiz Kids High School in Anantnag
New Whiz Kids High School in Anantnag is looking for an experienced Mathematics teacher to join its team as a Non-Teaching Staff (NTT) for the academic year. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction to students in grades 9 to 12. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping young minds through engaging, problem-based learning.
The Mathematics teacher will prepare daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum while incorporating interactive methods to boost student understanding. This includes designing practical examples, visual aids, and real-world applications to make abstract concepts tangible. The teacher must ensure students grasp fundamental concepts like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus with confidence.
Assessing student progress is a critical responsibility. The teacher will conduct regular quizzes, homework checks, and small-group reviews to identify gaps and reinforce learning. Feedback will be tailored to each student’s strengths and areas needing improvement, ensuring personalized growth. The role also involves monitoring exam performance and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with fellow teachers and administrative staff is essential. The Mathematics teacher will participate in departmental meetings to share teaching techniques, share resources, and stay updated on educational trends. This includes attending workshops or seminars to refine teaching methods and adopt innovative approaches.
Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment is equally important. The teacher must foster a culture where students feel encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and take ownership of their learning. Discipline and respect for rules will be consistently enforced while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics, preferably with a graduate degree in the subject. Three years of teaching experience in schools is required, with a preference for candidates who have passed the TET or CTET exams. The salary for this position ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
