Oxford Presentation School | Anantnag is seeking a visionary leader to guide its Business Studies department as a PGT Business Studies Teacher. This role offers the chance to shape curriculum excellence and mentor students while potentially leading as Head of Department, where strategic decisions directly impact academic outcomes.
As a PGT Business Studies Teacher in Anantnag, you will design and implement innovative teaching methods that align with modern business education standards. You’ll develop syllabi incorporating real-world case studies, ensuring students grasp entrepreneurial skills and ethical business practices. Curriculum development will also include integrating digital tools and industry collaborations to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional readiness.
You’ll oversee student performance through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback that motivates high achievement. Collaborate closely with the principal and faculty to refine teaching strategies, ensuring consistency in delivering a rigorous Business Studies curriculum. Act as a liaison between students and parents, addressing concerns while promoting transparency in academic progress.
Lead extracurricular activities such as business competitions, guest lectures, and workshops with local entrepreneurs, expanding students’ exposure to real-world business dynamics. Mentor junior faculty members to build their teaching skills and maintain high academic standards across the department.
Your qualifications include a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least five years of teaching experience in Business Studies. A strong background in curriculum design and student development will be highly valued. Experience in leadership roles, such as coordinating departmental activities or guiding student projects, is a plus.
