PRT English Teacher Position at The Elixir School, Anantnag
Seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (PRT) specializing in English to join The Elixir School in Anantnag. This role focuses on shaping young minds through engaging English language instruction in a nurturing academic environment.
Core Responsibilities
Teach English as a subject to students in grades 1 to 5, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum. Develop and implement lesson plans that foster literacy, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. Conduct interactive classroom activities, group discussions, and writing exercises to enhance language proficiency.
Additional Duties
Assist in organizing extracurricular activities like reading clubs, poetry recitals, or cultural events related to English. Collaborate with other teachers to create cross-subject projects that integrate English with other academic areas. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and feedback sessions to support student growth.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum three years of teaching experience at the primary level preferred.
