Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects, including history, geography, civics, and economics, to students in Class 6 to 8 at Rising Institute Of Scientific Education. Prepare engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum while incorporating regional and cultural relevance to Anantnag’s context.
Deliver interactive classroom sessions, use visual aids, and encourage group discussions to foster critical thinking among students. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure cohesive teaching standards and support students’ academic growth in social studies. Maintain organized classroom management to create a conducive learning environment.
Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. Possess a graduate degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary or upper primary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for this role.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position based in Shangas, Anantnag, Jammu And Kashmir. The monthly salary ranges from Rs.12,000 to Rs.22,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is part of the teaching staff at Rising Institute Of Scientific Education.
