Apex Public School in Baramula is seeking a dedicated PGT History Teacher to inspire students with engaging lessons on India’s rich cultural and political heritage. This role will involve shaping young minds in the vibrant academic environment of Sopore, Baramula.
You will design and deliver innovative lesson plans covering ancient, medieval, and modern Indian history, ensuring alignment with the latest curriculum standards. Daily classroom instruction will include interactive sessions, field trips, and project-based learning to deepen student understanding. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback to help them excel. Collaborate with the history department to organize school events like history festivals or guest lectures by eminent scholars. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, maps, and multimedia tools, to support effective history teaching.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in History along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience in teaching history at the secondary level, preferably in Jammu and Kashmir, will be highly valued.
This PGT History Teacher position offers a competitive salary of Rs.38,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Sopore, Baramula.
