Mentor students to help them navigate challenges related to mental health and academic stress. Organize workshops and seminars on psychology concepts, including stress management and interpersonal skills. Collaborate with the school’s counseling team to support student well-being initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results. Participate in school events, including inter-house competitions and guest lectures, to promote psychology as a dynamic and relevant subject.
Qualification
A postgraduate degree in Psychology from a recognized university is essential. Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for this role. Experience in teaching Psychology at the secondary or senior secondary level is highly valued. Familiarity with the CBSE/NIOS curriculum will be an added advantage. A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum one year of teaching experience in Psychology or related subjects at the school level. Experience in designing and delivering interactive teaching methods is a must. Knowledge of educational psychology principles and their application in classroom settings is beneficial. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse student learning needs is required.
