Design and deliver comprehensive Botany lessons aligned with the Jammu & Kashmir Board curriculum, ensuring clarity and engagement for students. Prepare and evaluate practical assignments, field studies, and lab experiments to deepen their understanding of plant biology, ecology, and genetics. Collaborate with the science department to integrate botany with interdisciplinary subjects like environmental studies and agriculture. Maintain updated lesson plans, textbooks, and educational resources to support modern teaching methodologies. Attend departmental meetings to discuss curriculum improvements and student performance trends. Ensure compliance with school policies on student safety, discipline, and academic integrity during fieldwork and lab activities.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Botany or a science subject is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly preferred. Experience in shaping young minds through innovative teaching techniques, particularly in Jammu & Kashmir’s diverse educational landscape, will be an asset.
