PGT History Teacher Position at R P School in Ganderbal
Teach senior secondary-level history classes at R P School in Nagbal, focusing on engaging students with the region’s rich cultural and political heritage. Develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum while assessing student understanding through exams and projects.
Prepare and evaluate history-related assignments, field trips, and research-based assignments to deepen historical knowledge. Collaborate with the history department to refine teaching methods and curriculum integration.
Ensure classroom management is effective, maintaining discipline while fostering critical thinking among students. Maintain records of student progress and communicate performance feedback to parents and the principal.
Qualifications include a postgraduate degree in History with at least four years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, along with TET/CTET certification preferred.
