Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle

Collaborate with other teachers to design cross-subject projects that integrate Hindi vocabulary and grammar into broader learning experiences. Participate in regular teacher meetings to discuss pedagogical strategies and share best practices for improving Hindi instruction. Support administrative tasks related to student assessments, such as grading assignments and preparing evaluation reports.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss students’ academic progress and address any concerns regarding Hindi learning. Organize periodic language enrichment activities, such as storytelling sessions or poetry recitals, to deepen students’ appreciation for Hindi literature. Attend in-service training sessions to stay updated on teaching methodologies and curriculum updates relevant to Hindi education.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as a minimum requirement for teaching at this level. Possess a graduate degree in Hindi or a related field, with at least three years of teaching experience, preferably in primary or lower secondary education. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience in teaching Hindi to young learners is highly valued. Familiarity with Jammu and Kashmir’s educational curriculum is a plus.
