Delhi Public School in Ganderbal is seeking a dedicated PRT Physical Education Teacher to join the Physical Education department at its Tullamulla campus. This full-time role requires enthusiasm for sports, fitness, and youth development, with a focus on creating engaging, inclusive physical education programs for students.
The PRT will design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and discipline. Daily lessons will include games, drills, and outdoor sports, ensuring students develop fundamental motor skills while adhering to curriculum standards. Collaboration with other teachers and parents is essential to support holistic student growth.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be highly valued. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate patience, creativity, and a passion for motivating young athletes.
Daily attendance and punctuality are non-negotiable. The teacher will supervise extracurricular sports events, maintain equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Participation in school sports festivals and inter-house competitions is expected.
