About This Role
The Music Teacher Job in Jammu will lead the school’s music department at International Delhi Public School Ghou Manhasan. Responsibilities include managing music programs, organizing events, and ensuring cultural activities align with school values. Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute school music events, competitions, and performances.
Oversee the music curriculum and resource allocation for classes.
Coordinate with coordinators and principals to integrate music into school activities.
Manage budgets for music equipment, instruments, and event logistics.
Train student groups for inter-school and intra-school competitions.
Document student progress and maintain performance records.
Liaise with external agencies for music workshops and collaborations.
Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards during music events.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline with 3 years of experience in school administration or cultural activities.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification from a recognized institution.
Experience in organizing music-related events or programs in a school setting.
Good to Have
TET/CTET certification.
Familiarity with local Jammu music traditions and school event management.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership in guiding teams during music events and rehearsals.
Excellent communication to coordinate with students, parents, and staff.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and
