NTT Mathematics Teacher Job in Jammu, Jammu And Kashmir | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
This is a full-time NTT Mathematics Teacher position at Shubh International School Akhnoor in Akhnoor, Jammu. You will handle Mathematics classes for younger learners, focusing on building number sense, shapes, and basic problem-solving skills. What you will actually do
Prepare daily lesson plans for early Mathematics concepts using visual aids and simple games.
Conduct hands-on counting, sorting, and measurement activities for classes I to III.
Assess students through informal observations and small worksheets rather than formal tests.
Assist in maintaining classroom discipline with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement.
Collaborate with the NTT team to align topics with the school’s monthly theme.
Prepare low-cost teaching aids from local materials for better concept clarity.
Attend monthly staff meetings to discuss student progress and classroom challenges.
Support school events like math fairs or number days when needed.
Who can do this job
Postgraduate in Mathematics or related field with minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory.
Familiarity with early childhood pedagogy and play-based learning is an advantage.
