R.m Public School invites a dynamic educator to step into a PGT Biology Teacher role with the potential to lead the Science department as Head of Department. This position offers the chance to shape curriculum, mentor junior staff and drive academic excellence across the school’s biology programme.
Strategic responsibilities
- Design and deliver the Biology curriculum for classes IX to XII, aligning with state board standards.
- Conduct periodic assessments and analyze results to inform instructional strategies.
- Lead the development of practical lab sessions, ensuring safety and resource optimisation.
- Mentor new teachers and coordinate professional development workshops for the science faculty.
- Collaborate with the school management to set academic targets and monitor progress.

- Participate in the School PGT Biology Opening committee to recruit and orient new faculty.
- Oversee the integration of digital tools and e‑learning resources into biology teaching.
- Contribute to the Biology Teacher Recruitment in Jammu And Kashmir by engaging with local teacher training colleges.
What you bring
A post‑graduate degree in Biology with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification and at least two years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference is given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET and possess proven leadership or departmental coordination experience. Strong communication skills, a passion for student‑centred learning and the ability to manage laboratory resources are essential.
