Job Title
PGT Economics Teacher – Full‑time position at International Delhi Public School Jammu, located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the Economics curriculum to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE guidelines, preparing lesson plans, worksheets and assessments. Conduct periodic tests, evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students. Organize classroom discussions on current economic issues relevant to the region, encouraging analytical thinking. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the preparation of school‑wide academic activities.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in Economics with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Candidates who have cleared TET or CTET will be given preference. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting is required. Ability to communicate concepts clearly in both English and Hindi is essential.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience teaching Economics at the senior secondary level, preferably in a CBSE affiliated school. Experience in using digital teaching aids and managing classroom dynamics will be valuable.
Salary
The remuneration for this role is Rs.40,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
