Salary
Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver engaging Economics lessons for Classes XI and XII following the CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and assessment tools that align with the school’s academic standards.
3. Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students.
4. Mentor students for economics Olympiads and inter‑school competitions.
5. Coordinate with the Head of Department to integrate interdisciplinary projects with Geography and Business Studies.
6. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student progress reports.
7. Organise field trips and guest lectures that relate to local economic issues in Jammu and surrounding regions.
8. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops and school events.
9. Uphold the code of conduct and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Economics (M.A. or M.Sc.) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET.
Key Skills
Strong command over economic theory, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in using digital teaching tools, and the capacity to relate economic concepts to everyday life in Jammu.
