Your responsibilities
Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines for Classes 9 to 12. Integrate digital tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Classroom into daily teaching. Conduct weekly literature circles and debate sessions to enhance spoken skills. Design creative writing workshops and peer-review activities. Organize inter-house elocution and poetry recitation competitions. Use formative assessments through Google Forms and Kahoot quizzes. Collaborate with the language department to update teaching resources. Maintain digital portfolios for each student’s progress.
Qualifications and digital literacy requirements
Postgraduate in English with B.Ed is mandatory. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school. Proficiency in using MS Office, internet research, and basic troubleshooting. Familiarity with LMS platforms like Google Classroom or Moodle is preferred.
Skills for the modern classroom
