Responsibilities
1. Deliver the NCERT History curriculum for classes IX to XII with interactive methods.
2. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessments aligned to the Board guidelines.
3. Conduct periodic revision tests and provide constructive feedback to students.
4. Organize history quizzes, debates and heritage walks to enrich classroom learning.
5. Mentor students for project work and assist in their preparation for competitive history exams.
6. Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events.
7. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and co‑curricular activities.
8. Contribute to the development of school’s history resources and library collection.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in History along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred and will be considered an added advantage. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, along with a passion for Indian heritage, are essential.
Salary and location
Salary: Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month. Position based in Jammu, Jammu And Kashmir at Subh International School | Akhnoor.
