Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate Physical Education curriculum for students from Class VI to Class XII.
- Conduct regular Physical Education classes, including sports and games, to promote physical fitness and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain a safe and conducive Physical Education environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Organize and participate in inter-house and inter-school sports competitions to promote healthy competition and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Physical Education with other subjects, such as Health and Wellness.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers and students on various Physical Education topics.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
- Develop and implement Physical Education programs that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
- Foster a sense of community and teamwork among students through Physical Education activities.
- Stay updated with the latest Physical Education trends and best practices to ensure innovative teaching methods.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (M.Sc or M.P.Ed) in Physical Education or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- CTET or TET certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as a PGT Physical Education Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Education curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
