Curriculum development will include integrating regional perspectives, including Jammu’s political history, to foster contextual awareness.
Assessment will focus on evaluating students’ ability to analyze primary sources like speeches, manifestos, and judicial decisions, alongside written exams and group projects on political theories. Field trips to local government offices or political events in Jammu could supplement classroom learning, offering hands-on exposure to political processes.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, with a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline essential. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Political Science, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid certificate will be an asset.
