Subh International School | Akhnoor seeks a dynamic Physical Education Teacher to lead sports programs and oversee athletic facilities. The role involves planning physical activities, coordinating inter‑school events, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across the campus. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive physical education curriculum for all grade levels.
- Supervise and evaluate sports teams, coaching staff, and volunteers.
- Maintain and upgrade sporting equipment, tracks, and indoor gymnasium.
- Coordinate inter‑school tournaments, host national level competitions, and manage event logistics.
- Liaise with parents and community partners to secure sponsorships and support for athletic initiatives.
- Monitor student participation, track performance metrics, and report progress to senior management.
Leadership & Management
- Lead the Physical Education department, setting strategic goals aligned with school vision.
- Mentor junior staff, conduct professional development workshops, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare annual budget for sports programs, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost‑effective resource allocation.
- Implement health and safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and maintain compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar leadership role within a school setting.
- Proven track record of organizing large‑scale sports events and managing teams.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English; knowledge of Kashmiri language is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.20,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
