What You Will Do

As a senior English department member at Shubh International School Akhnoor, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing the English curriculum for all classes
- Mentoring junior staff to improve their teaching skills and subject knowledge
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of English subjects
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress
- Providing feedback to students, parents, and teachers to improve academic performance
- Collaborating with the Head of Department to set departmental goals and objectives
- Contributing to school-wide initiatives and projects
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences and other community events
- Staying updated with the latest developments in English language teaching and learning

Eligibility Criteria
==================

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- NET or SET certification (preferably in English)
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead junior staff
