Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated PRT Music Teacher to join our team at Shubh International School Akhnoor. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from classes 1 to 8 and contributing to the overall development of the school's music program.
What You Will Do
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons to students.
- Develop and implement music curricula and assessments that meet the needs of our students.
- Conduct music performances and events that showcase student talent.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into the school's curriculum.
- Maintain a well-organized and student-friendly music classroom.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the school's music program by leading music extracurricular activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local music organizations and communities.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Music or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching music to students from classes 1 to 8.
- Strong knowledge of Indian music and its various forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
