About This Role
As a PRT Music Teacher at Unique Sr. Sec. School, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from grades 1 to 12. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging music lessons, assess student progress, and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver music lessons to students from grades 1 to 12.
2. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
3. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement music programs.
5. Organize and conduct music events and performances.
6. Develop and maintain a music library and resource center.
7. Supervise students during music practice sessions.
8. Participate in staff development and training programs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a B.Ed and/or D.El.Ed degree in Music or a related field. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in the Jammu, Jammu And Kashmir region. You must be fluent in English and have good communication skills.
