As a PRT Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for curriculum ownership, staff development and ensuring exceptional board results. Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement engaging Physical Education curriculum for students from class 6th to 12th.
2. Lead the Physical Education department, mentoring junior staff and guiding them in curriculum development.
3. Ensure exceptional board results in Physical Education, aligning with school's standards.
4. Develop and conduct teacher training programs for junior staff, enhancing their Physical Education teaching skills.
5. Collaborate with school administration to integrate Physical Education with other subjects.
6. Plan and organize Physical Education events, tournaments, and competitions.
7. Develop and implement policies for student participation in Physical Education activities.
8. Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress in Physical Education.
9. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress in Physical Education.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, is mandatory. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physical Education is required. NET or SET certification is preferred. TET/CTET certification is not required.
