TGT English Teacher Position at Universal Delhi Public School, Rs Pura
We are looking for a dedicated TGT English teacher to join the faculty at Universal Delhi Public School in Ranbir Singh Pora, Jammu. This role focuses on delivering engaging English language instruction across grades, fostering literacy and communication skills through interactive lessons. The teacher will design curriculum-aligned activities, including grammar exercises, reading comprehension, and creative writing, while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
Core duties include planning and executing daily English classes, assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluations, and maintaining a supportive learning environment. You will also collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching strategies, participate in departmental meetings, and ensure alignment with school policies. Secondary responsibilities include organizing extracurricular activities like debates, poetry recitals, and language clubs to enhance students’ cultural awareness and confidence.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in English or a related field is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in English or related subjects, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
