Prepare interactive activities like debates, storytelling, and creative writing to keep students motivated. Monitor student progress individually and in small groups to identify learning gaps. Ensure classroom management remains orderly while fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, incorporating regional and cultural elements relevant to Kargil’s diverse student body. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate English into cross-subject activities, such as project-based learning. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessment results.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly parent-teacher interactions to discuss students’ academic performance and development. Organize occasional cultural or literary events, such as poetry readings or English competitions, to enrich the school’s extracurricular offerings. Ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum adherence and student welfare, especially in remote locations.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in English or a related subject. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. A graduate degree in English, literature, or a related field is essential. Experience in teaching students from diverse backgrounds is a plus.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.28,000.
