Fayaz - Kps International School Kupwara is looking for a Foundation Physics Teacher to deliver the physics curriculum to primary level students in Kupwara. The role involves planning, teaching and assessing students in a full‑time capacity while fostering curiosity and a strong conceptual base in science.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging physics lessons aligned with the school’s syllabus, using a mix of demonstrations, experiments and interactive activities.
Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and practical kits that simplify complex concepts for young learners.
Assess student progress through regular tests, projects and observations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe environment for hands‑on experiments.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate physics with other subjects and participate in school events, science fairs and parent‑teacher meetings.
Update records, lesson plans and attendance as per school requirements.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Physics or a related science discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; candidates with TET/CTET certification will be preferred.
Clear understanding of foundational physics topics and age‑appropriate pedagogical methods.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the primary or foundation level, preferably in a school setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and adapt lessons to diverse learning needs.
Salary
Rs.22,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
Working Conditions
Full‑time position based in Kupwara, Jammu And Kashmir.
