PRT Computer Science Teacher – Doon International School | Gulgam Kupwara
Doon International School in Gulgam, Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir is hiring a full‑time PRT Computer Science Teacher. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to primary students and fostering a love for technology in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Computer Science lessons for classes I‑VIII, using age‑appropriate teaching aids and interactive tools.
Assess student progress through classwork, projects and periodic tests, providing feedback to students and parents.
Maintain classroom discipline, prepare lesson plans in line with the school syllabus and collaborate with senior teachers for interdisciplinary activities.
Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and professional development programmes to stay updated with educational trends.
Requirements
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the primary level.
Graduation in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Good command of English and basic Hindi, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, programming basics and internet safety guidelines.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.14,000 – Rs.25,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
