Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Biology to students in classes 9 to 12 at Fayaz - Kps International School Kupwara, ensuring alignment with the latest CBSE curriculum. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on experiments, field studies, and interactive discussions relevant to the regional context.
Conduct regular classroom assessments using objective and subjective evaluation methods to measure student understanding and progress. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their scientific reasoning and experimental skills.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance to support academic tracking and reporting as required by the school.
Prepare students for board examinations by offering targeted revision sessions, sample paper practice, and subject-specific mock tests. Collaborate with the Biology faculty to refine teaching strategies and share best practices for improving student outcomes.
Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related science stream followed by a Master’s in Biology or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Possess a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for school-level teaching.
Ensure possession of a valid TET or CTET certificate, though not mandatory for this position. Three years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is required.
