Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Political Science lessons for classes IX to XII in accordance with the school curriculum. Prepare teaching aids, assignments and assessments, and evaluate student performance regularly. Maintain classroom discipline, record attendance, and collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings and school events as required.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline. Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates with TET/CTET certification. Knowledge of the Jammu and Kashmir syllabus and ability to integrate contemporary political issues into lessons.
Experience
Minimum three years of full‑time teaching experience in a recognized school setting, preferably handling senior secondary students. Experience with digital teaching tools and continuous assessment methods is advantageous.
Salary
Rs.22,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
