Birla Open Minds International School is looking for a full‑time PGT Computer Science Teacher to join its campus in Pampore, Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to senior secondary students and fostering a modern learning environment.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in accordance with the school’s syllabus and academic standards. Conduct practical sessions, labs and project work to develop students’ programming, problem‑solving and analytical skills. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, and examinations, and provide timely feedback. Mentor students for participation in coding competitions and technology clubs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and classroom activities. Collaborate with fellow faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and school events. Ensure classroom discipline and a safe learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required; TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
Compensation and Location
Salary: Rs.38,000 – Rs.60,000 per month. Position based at Birla Open Minds International School, Pampore, Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.
