PRT Sanskrit Teacher Position at Paragon Public School, Shopian
Paragon Public School in Shopian seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to join its faculty. The role demands strong subject expertise and a passion for nurturing students’ understanding of classical and modern Sanskrit literature, grammar, and culture. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
Core Responsibilities
Plan and teach Sanskrit classes from Class I to XII, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and state board standards.
Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate Vedic texts, classical poetry, and contemporary applications of Sanskrit.
Assist in organizing extracurricular activities like Sanskrit recitation competitions, cultural festivals, and workshops for students.
Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to assess student progress and recommend improvements in teaching methods.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and participation in Sanskrit-related activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a strong background in Sanskrit.
Possess a graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related humanities discipline.
Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.
While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset for this role.
