To qualify, you must hold a graduate degree along with either a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this role, relevant experience in special education administration will be highly valued. Two years of relevant work experience in educational settings, particularly in inclusive classrooms or special education programs, is preferred.
The role involves coordinating special education programs, collaborating with teachers and parents, and ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines. You will assist in designing support strategies, documenting student progress, and maintaining records for special education students. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to creating an equitable learning space are essential.
Effective communication with stakeholders—including parents, administrators, and external agencies—is critical.
