Maintain organized class materials, including lab equipment and teaching resources, ensuring everything is ready for lessons.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, ensuring alignment with state education board standards. Collaborate with the physics lab coordinator to oversee practical sessions, ensuring safety protocols and proper use of equipment. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies and share best practices. Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments, projects, and lab work to foster continuous improvement.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing school events, competitions, and science fairs related to physics, encouraging student participation. Review and update teaching materials, textbooks, and lab manuals as needed to incorporate new scientific advancements. Attend periodic teacher training sessions to enhance pedagogical skills and stay updated on educational trends.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in physics. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role. A strong command of the English language is essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,500 to Rs.40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This role is based in Zainapora, Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and academic excellence.
