Music Teacher Job in Srinagar, Jammu And Kashmir | School Vacancy
Responsibilities
The incumbent will oversee the music department’s daily operations at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with school policies. Responsibilities include budgeting for instruments, supervising support staff, organizing events such as concerts and cultural programs, and maintaining records of student participation. The role also involves liaising with parents, external artists, and community groups to enhance the institute’s musical outreach.
Key duties cover preparation of monthly reports for senior management, handling procurement of equipment, and ensuring the safety and upkeep of the music lab. The candidate will support curriculum planners by providing logistical input and will mentor junior staff in administrative procedures.
Qualifications
A graduate degree is mandatory; a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred, and successful candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience in school administration or related fields. Possession of TET/CTET certification is advantageous but not compulsory. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with basic accounting software, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language are essential.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
