Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the English department to integrate modern teaching methods and resources into lesson delivery. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student performance trends. Collaborate with other teachers to create cross-subject projects that reinforce English language learning. Ensure compliance with school policies on grading, attendance, and extracurricular activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing school events such as poetry recitals, debates, or literary fests to promote English fluency. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and areas for improvement. Review and update teaching materials, textbooks, and digital resources to keep lessons relevant and effective.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with at least three years of teaching experience in English. Possession of TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabi is advantageous.
Salary and Location
