Core Duties:
Teaching Computer Science at the PGT level with a structured curriculum, ensuring conceptual clarity and practical application through coding exercises, labs, and project-based learning.
Developing and updating syllabi, textbooks, and teaching aids to reflect industry trends and technological advancements, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development.
Assisting students in preparing for competitive exams by providing targeted study materials, mock tests, and revision sessions tailored to entrance exam patterns.
Collaborating with the IT infrastructure team to maintain and enhance the school’s digital learning resources, including hardware, software, and online platforms for remote learning.
Participating in school-wide initiatives like hackathons, coding competitions, and guest speaker programs to inspire students in Computer Science.
Evaluating student performance through continuous assessment, including assignments, projects, and exams, while providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
Engaging with parents and stakeholders to discuss student progress, curriculum alignment, and areas requiring additional support in Computer Science.
Qualifications and Experience:
A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong academic background in the subject.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching positions at International Delhi Public School.
Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical subject at the secondary or senior secondary level.
Experience in designing and implementing innovative teaching methods, especially those that emphasize problem-solving and hands-on learning.
A passion for mentoring students and fostering a love for Computer Science through interactive and engaging teaching approaches.
